The Possibilities are Beautiful!

When customer's go shopping, they want to feel welcomed and not judged. One place that makes you feel this way all the time is Ulta Beauty. They are one of the most prestigious make up companies around. It is my all time favorite place to shop for my makeup needs. They have everything! They also know how make an emotional connection when it comes to commericals and how to use thier social media right.

Recently, when I was watching TV, their commercial caught my eye. As a marketing student, this advertisement was so well done. It shows a range of all different people from gender, ethnicity, size, age, hair color and more. It is a beautiful video. The song they chose to use in the background is "Scars To Your Beautiful" by Alessia Cara, which is very catchy and fits perfectly. This video is all about loving yourself and accepting who you are, and they did a great job of getting that vibe across.

The company was also known for using Snapchat for exclusive deals and content. This happened in 2015, and they have continued to dominate in the makeup game. Snapchat is a great way for companies to target younger audiences. They are quick videos that allow companies to advertise in a short way and for a makeup brand they could do short tutorials using Snapchat stories. When using social media, marketers must work with the changes and adapt fast, Ulta is a perfect example of this. As they say the possibilities are beautiful!
